Reports say the policewoman who was filmed demanding a bribe from a commercial bus driver in Lagos has been arrested.
In the short footage, the yet to be unidentified woman was seen extorting the sum of N100 from the driver and his conductor.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, the police officer has been arrested is presently in custody.
“We have arrested her and she is presently in custody. She will be made to undergo an orderly room trial and the outcome will be made public,” she reportedly said.
The policewoman’s name and her station was, however, not mentioned.
